Art World Chess

​The Art World Chess set was created in 2024 for the Gallerina: (Do Not) Disturb exhibition at Ace Hotel New York, sponsored by Ace Hotel and Powerhouse Arts, Brooklyn. This 24 x 24" ceramic sculpture was glazed to resemble stone statues. The pieces represent key players in the art industry, each embodying strategic roles. The set features an all-female cast of characters: gallerinas, directors, writers, and artist pawns, with the only male figure being a small rider on a female centaur.
