All Hallows

All Hallows is a ceramic series that draws on Halloween iconography, kitsch, and play. The works loosely reference Old Salem Village, where the 1692–1693 witch trials took place, connecting historical myth to contemporary gesture through humor, exaggeration, and handmade form.

Produced for Wassaic Project’s Haunted Mill in October 2023, the figures lean into absurdity and theatricality, using distortion and surface to balance charm with unease. All Hallows treats history less as monument and more as costume, allowing playfulness to carry darker undertones without becoming heavy or didactic.
