Artist, Lauren Cohen comes from Old Salem Village where the witch trials originally happened in 1692-1693. She has been researching and making connections to her own upbringing in the same town nearly 400 years after the unfortunate events. These pieces were produced for Wassaic Projects' Haunted Mill event in October, 2023.
